Poll Results: ESG Factors in Investment Decisions

We polled our blog readers on whether they think environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors affect investment decisions and here is what they said:

  • A majority (62%) of respondents said they consider ESG factors when making investment decisions
  • Over half (52%) of respondents chose environmental issues as the most important ESG factor when making investment decisions, while about one-third (31%) said governance
  • Two-thirds (66%) of respondents agreed integrating ESG factors into investment decisions was additive to risk-adjusted performance
